HORRIBLE PLACE TO RENT A BOAT!!! We went for Father's Day and when we arrived the boat did not look like the picture. It was very run down. The seats were ripped, there was no anchor or rope provided even when I asked for it AND offered to buy one but they said they did not sell rope! Typically it would not be a big deal, but the water is extremely high this year and there was no where to pull up on land to park or beach the boat. Without an anchor or rope, we constantly had to watch the boat and our youngest child had no where to play (2 years old). The floors of the boat were immediately soaked (everywhere) as soon as we drove off. Everything was soaked so if you rent from here, be sure to bring all of your items in trash bags. The boat rentals here are about $50 for a double pontoon compared to the other marinas on Dale Hallow. The boat has no outlet, radio, or grill. They charged us $86 in gas and said it was a gas and oil charge. No one came out to check the fuel or oil. When my husband went to talk to the person at the front desk about the charge, they boy quickly locked up shop and left. For $400, there are much better places to rent from on Dale Hallow. We were really disappointed.
The Nice's people the cabins and the motel is super clean. Has great views. Would tell anyone to come out.
great location! Wonderful for families. need to keep shop open longer than 4pm and dock needs maintenance
It was a nice, clean place to stay. Make sure to bring towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products though. They also have boat rentals at their marina.
Beautiful view. Simple cabins with no frills, television but no wifi, limited cell reception depending on your carrier. Woods for hiking, boat rentals, fishing, service staff are friendly, rooms were clean. A good place to get away from city life.
